Golden Star Lotto, North American Shoppers, Emerson Electric Co. | Rip-off Report: 373584

I received a packages claiming I am a winner of the Golden Star Lotto/ NORTH AMERICAN SHOPPERS ELECTRONIC LOTTERY in the immensity of $100,000 US dollars. Enclosed with the packages is a research for $4,855.00 to supposedly insert the Process Charge due from the winnings. The evaluation, which looks valid, is from an statement with the Bank of America in DeKalb County, Illinois and for some far-off dialectics, written on a test from Emerson Engine Technologies/Emerson ELectric Co. in Saint Louis, Missouri.

The dispatch insists that I can accomplish bagatelle with the enclosed trial before calling Mister James Adam (Claims/Disbursement Agent) to my "CUSTOMS IDENTIFICATION QUANTITY". (Hi?...isn't that my Social Security Unit???)

This dispatch is a fraud for the consequent reasons:

1) The proof for $4855.00 is not a Check Line or a Certified Test. Inasmuch as, it cannot be used for anything until after the proof clears after growth placed in the recipient's invoice.

2) Winners of sweepstakes are censurable for paying the taxes themselves. Whether further coinage is sent to remuneration taxes, that is simply fresh taxable means, as the sweepstakes winner is even obligated to earnings the IRS. In direction to pament taxes, your Social Security Numeral is needed. Giving that absent (to the "Claims Agent"?) sets you up for considerable specification theft and fraud problems.

I am personally going to the Bank of America, showing them this dispatch and research, and asking them to enquire. I testament not situate myself at risk by doing anything else with this fraudulent trial.

Be careful absent there - this test looks mere real. In that the Ripoff Announcement for giving me the heads up!

U.S.A.
